Ayurveda is one of the first systems of science and medicine known to man. Because of its roots, it is also commonly referred to as Yoga's sister science. The word "Ayurveda" literally means "the art of living," broadly but perfectly explaining what the system has to offer. We all have an understanding that what works for one person may not work the same for another, but only Ayurveda can answer the question of "why?" What makes Ayurveda so different from any other plan or fad out there is that it highlights the fact that there is no such thing as "one size fits all" approach to health and fitness. It simply explains why we are the way we are, think the way we think, and act the way we act. It then goes deeper than that and outlines how exactly we can live, eat, and act according to our own unique make-up. Ultimately, Ayurveda gives you the tools to fine-tune your entire way of living in order to maximize your health and performance in the long-run.
